Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: email address, username, and a hashed password (or your Google/Apple identity if you sign in that way).
• Content you create: uploaded documents (PDF/DOCX), and the flashcards and quizzes you or the AI generate from them.
• Study activity: progress, scores, and quiz history, so spaced repetition and stats work.
• Device and session metadata (IP address, device/browser info), used only for security logging such as detecting suspicious logins.

Who we share it with

• Supabase hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Anthropic (Claude) processes document text you upload, solely to generate flashcards, quizzes, and answer explanations on your behalf.
• Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with them.
• We never sell your data to third parties.

Your rights

• Access and export your data at any time from within the app.
• Correct inaccurate account information from Settings.
• Delete your account and associated data as described above.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, or from the Account Deletion page. Deleting your account permanently removes your documents, decks, flashcards, and quiz history immediately. We keep a minimal audit record (your email address and the deletion date) for fraud-prevention and legal compliance purposes; it contains no other personal data.
